Man charged with 22 counts of animal cruelty; 20 dogs seized in suburban Lake Wort

More than 20 dogs were seized from a suburban Lake Worth kennel and the owner of the dogs charged with nearly two dozen counts of animal cruelty after animal control officers found several sick dogs and cages filled with animal feces and blood.

Scott Kipp, owner of Kipp's K9s, arrived at the kennel on the 2100 block of Second Avenue North as officers were executing a search warrant. He acknowledged some of the animals were sick but said they had not been to a vet for six months.
