Police and animal rescue officials rescued 43 animals from a property in Ripley County.
This comes after an investigation of neglected dogs and horses at a home just off of Highway U near Doniphan. Animal rescue officials also found dead animals on the property.
"We think she moved some of the animals," said Humane Society investigator Darin Shell. "There were more dogs here a few days ago. The skinniest ones are gone."
