Aloha family accused of hoarding nearly 50 animals

ALOHA, OR - Washington County deputies are investigating a case of animal hoarding in Aloha.

Brenda and Nyls White, along with 24-year-old daughter Tessa, were cited for animal neglect.

On Tuesday, authorities seized 47 dogs and cats from the Whites' home. The pets were then turned over to the Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter in Hillsboro.

Detectives say the animals were living in filthy conditions and some are very sick.
"The conditions inside the house were extremely filthy and not fit for the animals or humans to live in," deputies said in a news release.
