Fort Wayne authorities are dealing with an apparent case of cat hoarding on the city's north side.
Randy Thornton, enforcement supervisor at Animal Care & Control, said the Elmer Avenue home near Sherman Boulevard, likely has more than 20 cats in addition to a large amount of feces inside.
A woman who rents the house has given Animal Care & Control permission to take the cats, Thornton said.
